Sledging Technique

It is a very famous technique to make a form with concrete material or plaster of Paris by rotation of stencil made out of wood or metal on an axis. Metal wooden blade cut in shape of outer form of the design and when its rotated on the axis the blade removes the excessive cement to make the desired form. This is a traditional technique used around the globe and have being using from ancient time.

Therefore I made my final design stencil form layout in Coral draw software

I was able to put my knowledge into practice and effectively redesign the chair with a function of spinning, which produced a delightful experience, using the sledging approach I learnt in workshops.
