Hand and Machine stitch techniques?

I attended the workshops of textiles and learned how the sewing machine works. I found the process of threading the bobbin a bit complicated but was able to memorize it after doing practice. Sewing machine is a very dangerous machine which can cause harm therefore we were taught safety precautions. I was able to learn about the different stitches such as single and double stitch. This workshop will help me to make my final outcome which is giving a new life to a redundant object.

Later on, I started my process on prototypes and I realized that making a cardboard prototype will not be a great idea as it is a very hard material therefore instead of making a prototype out of cardboard I used my old pair of jeans as my prototype As part of my process I was successful in conceptualising my old pairs of jeans into a new hand bag. Making this as a mock up I was able to learn and apply my practical knowledge of hand stitch which I learned during my textile workshops. Making this prototype I felt confident on working on my final design idea.
