Importance of Public Space in Society.
Highstreets, parks, and other public areas all play a significant role in uniting the community; it is in these locations that people meet with friends, eat lunch, spend time with their families, or unwind on their own. These locations are also places for learning because you can observe the variety of cultures and distinct identities that make up your local area.
This is why it is extremely important these public spaces are welcoming and offer a place to rest for all ages. Seating provides a spot for people to pause, whether it be for lunch, a break, a place to wait and meet others, or just a place to relax and enjoy the view.
